Co-op: Philips Respironics
The University of Pittsburgh has an extensive cooperative education program through which I found a co-op position at Philips Respironics. I completed three rotations at the Monroeville office, and returned for an additional summer internship.
My projects focused on design and testing of user interface products related to CPAP therapy. I gained skills involving:
-
additive manufacturing
-
laser cutting
-
compression/injection molding
-
sewing
-
other forms of rapid prototyping
-
CAD modeling and data analysis
-
clinically trialing products
